You Ready For This?

Hey, I’m Nick Holt. I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach hell-bent on helping guys get out of pain and feel stronger and more confident in their bodies.

Let’s flashback to 10 years ago (that’s me in the middle picture above on the beach w/ sunglasses):

  • I’d wake up in the morning stiff as hell and slowly crawl out of bed.
  • I’d get winded climbing stairs. My clothes didn’t fit well. My joints were always cranky.
  • I’d get home from a long day and kick it back on the couch with a beer. I knew working out made more sense, but it just didn’t happen on most nights.

Sound familiar? I get it. I’ve been there. And then you look around and it’s common as hell. Old college friends and co-workers are in the same boat. I guess we just chalk it up to getting older, right?

Hell No. Not So Fast. There Is Another Way!

You know what? I actually bought into that BULLSHIT for a little while too. Aging..well oh shit nothing I can do I guess.. And then I made excuses. I blamed my environment. The damn office cookies. The local gym sucks. The weather. You name the excuse, I made it.

But holy shit — now that I’m out on the other side of that darkness — in the best shape of my life at 37 years young, I can see how much BS and conditioning I was buying into.

Now I’m doing things in my late 30’s that I could have never done in my 20’s…

I was following the advice of people who didn’t know what they were talking about.

I know, it’s hard to know who to believe. One person swearing by the Paleo diet and then someone else telling you that meat will kill you. Your CrossFit friend tells you that you have to lift heavy weights while your runner friend says forget the heavy weights and just do cardio instead.

Oh man, information overload!! 

Here’s what I’ve done. For the past 8 years I’ve dedicated my life to learning the science of exercise and nutrition, getting mentored by the smartest people I could find, and applying it to the real world by actually coaching other men to make positive changes in their lives.

The reality of getting back in shape as a dude in your 30’s or 40’s is different than when you’re 18.

I actually think it’s simpler to get in shape as a 35-50 year old. Yup, I said it. Sure, you don’t have all the testosterone kicking around your system like you did at 20, but there’s so much less mental bullshit you have to deal with.

No need to worry about impressing your classmates.

Or trying to figure how the hell to fit in.

Or dealing with the stress of navigating newfound adulthood.

Most likely, you were drinking alcohol on a much more frequent basis..I know I sure as hell was. 

You probably weren’t sleeping that well either. All these things matter.

Of course, you most likely have a much fuller life right now. Your career demands early mornings and occasional late nights. You prioritize spending as much time as you can with your family. You have a busy social calendar. I get it.

But here’s the deal. You don’t need to change everything. It’s quite simple actually.

If you give me 3-6 months, 30 minutes of intense sweat every other day, and an open mind to making some small changes to your diet, you’ll walk away a new man.

No joke, a new fucking you. You 4.0 — Stronger, leaner, more confident and ready to do what you do best – kick ass.

The results have been astounding. I came to Nick asking for assistance with improving my speed, and agility for soccer. He put together a plan (morning training, nutrition, running) that accomplished these 2 goals as well as helping me shed an extra 15 lbs.

In the last 10 years I’ve tried numerous things to drop those 15. With Nick I was able to do it! As a result my clothes fit better, my confidence, and energy are through the roof.
