Let’s take a look at an example. Have you ever noticed how the gym is always busier on Monday than on Friday? Why is that?
Well, it’s simple. On Monday, most people have motivation, or call it willpower, to go the gym. The weight (pun intended) of the work-week has yet to take its toll. Come Friday, the motivation to workout fades and all of a sudden cocktails and junk food sound like a much better option.
Relying on motivation = less gym workouts.
Less gym workouts + more cocktails = unhappy, unfit, maybe even a little heavier you.
