Hi, I am Julie.

My mission is to help you discover a way of living that makes you feel more alive & confident in your body so you can do more of what you’re here to do.

As women, we are SO STRONG & CAPABLE but we have been conditioned not to fully embody and embrace this fact. I say, NO MORE.

You can build incredible physical & mental strength through your fitness that resources you in every aspect of your life. So that you can go on more adventures, have more fun, and do all that you dream of.

Joseph Campbell said, “The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are”.

And I believe that to be true.

For the last 7 years, I have helped high achieving women overcome the challenges keeping them from the body they love and the results they’re after. Before pursuing a career in fitness, I spent a decade working in sales for large corporations. I worked with doctors, nurses, and other medial professionals educating and promoting medicines for diabetes.

Working within the healthcare system equipped me with an invaluable perspective. I realized that even the most educated and experienced medical professionals are throwing their hands in the air.

At that same time, I was acutely aware of my own personal struggle to stay fit, lean, and energized as a busy working professional. Spending countless hours on the road, working through lunch, and entertaining in the evenings made eating healthy and at home challenging.

Slowly weight was creeping on. I was finding myself tired and going through the motions. I was constantly taking measures to minimize weight gain, by trying different diets, skipping meals, going to the gym for hours, and eating less and less. All of which left me feeling mentally drained, frustrated, and like I was losing control. Back then I thought I was doing the right things. I followed what I read in fitness magazines and what the so-called experts said.

  • I cut carbs.
  • I avoided saturated fat.
  • I watched my cholesterol.
  • I toned with high reps and low weight.
  • I went fat free.
  • I did crunches galore.
  • I’d eat less and exercise more.
  • I did cardio till the cows came home.

None of this got me the results I was after, which was to feel lean and strong in my body, happy, and full of energy and focus. I remember thinking, maybe this is what “getting older” is about. (Spoiler: I was totally wrong☺)

I decided to apply the critical eye I had honed working in healthcare to learn more about exercise, nutrition, behavioral psychology, and scientific research. And what I discovered is this.

There ABSOLUTELY is a more effective way.

You can be lean, fit, and totally alive at any age. And I want to help you achieve it!

arrow_smallYou can’t hate your way to health and a body you love. You have to find a way to enjoy the process.

arrow_smallYou have to be clear on why you are doing this. Because there is no end date to your healthy lifestyle, you have to start slow by creating healthy habits that you practice day in and day out.

arrow_smallYou need a systematic approach to your healthy and fit lifestyle, and it all starts with Active Passion. This is the essential first piece to building an individualized framework that works for you and is sustainable.

arrow_smallSetting up your environments to support your healthy lifestyle will insure you succeed. This includes your kitchen (bye, bye doritos), but also your mindset and inner circle.

arrow_smallThe only way exercise can be sustainable is if you find joy in it. #LoveTheWayYouMove

arrow_smallDo strength training with intense exercise will keep you feeling and looking young. You’ll fall in love with how you feel when finished.

arrow_smallEat real food that makes you feel good.
