We’re firing up the butt, thighs, and legs in today’s Surfer Body Series video workout.

The muscles surrounding the hips are the biggest in the body and doing these 2 exercises in today’s video will boost your metabolism, get your closer to a beach body, and give you the ability to walk around with greater confidence and more energy.

Strong legs = firm, toned, and sexy legs.

(And this goes for the fellas too! Stronger legs means you might have to throw away those hipster jeans. Thank goodness for that! Ha!)

In today’s video, we will show you a squat and a hip thrust, both using the TRX. Used together, these 2 exercises will give you that tight, curvy, attractive lower body. The squat will work a little more through the quads (thighs) and the hip thrust will target the back of the legs, the hamstrings and glutes (butt). Developing a strong backside will not only look great, but it also can help alleviate lower back pain. By activating your glutes and using them properly, you’ll take a lot of pressure off of your lower back. This is a good thing.

And here’s a quick 10-minute full body workout you can do using these 2 moves.

Full Body Workout – 20x Squat /20x Pull / 20x Hip Press

Perform each move for 20 reps. Do not rest until you complete all 3 moves.

  • 20 reps – squat or squat jump
  • 20 reps – TRX low row
  • 20 reps – hip press

Rest 1 minute. Repeat for 5 rounds or 10 minutes, whichever comes first.
